About

I was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to Maine in 2001.  I am coming to you now from Springvale, Maine.

I am not affiliated with any political party.  I started this blog (and I really hate that word, but I am not clever enough to think of a better one) because I wanted a place to share my thoughts, ideas, and opinons in one neat and tidy space.

Right now, it won’t be fancy since I don’t have a digital camera or video equipment, so as I start this endeavor it will be a running editorial.   I began the foray into blogging in mid-2007 as more of a social experiment, solely for my own benefit. I am surprised to get as many visitors as I get. I am in my early 40’s, I am single, live alone, and have no children (that’s code for gay male).

When I say I have no agenda, I mean it. I am not trying to call anyone to action or convince them of anything. I am simply stating my point of view on a wide variety of topics; whatever is happening in the world right now about which I have an opinion.

I have found that my blog is my solace. It is a way to unload my brain when I want to yell and scream at the TV, Radio, or rather someone I heard there who said something that got my blood boiling. I also write about current events and people who I feel have a message that may have been missed. So I will restate it and give credit where credit is due.

I never thought I would have such strong opinions or such a strong passion for politics, world events, and history in terms of how it has affected who we are as Americans today.  I now accept that part of myself, and now I am surprised that some people actually care about what I have to say.

Thanks to all who stop by.  Thank you for visiting.  To contact me, simply submit a comment to this posting.

  1. Thanks for putting out your thoughts. People care about this country, where it’s headed and most of all are happy there are people like you who are intellectually engaged in the things that are going on in the world and who can articulate their thinking in writing.

Keep up the good work. I have included your blog in my blogroll. Hope you visit mine too.

  2. Hello, I just found your site from the main wordpress page. I agree with your posts and enjoyed the link about God. I’m currently trying to get a newpaper together that included community news that our big media papers pass over. I wish you lived in my area. I’m looking for columnists from at least three sides of the political fence. But I don’t know. I’m losing patience trying to bend my (Andreas snow) wordpress.org theme into 1and1.com hosting. All the wasted years I should’ve been learning pc’s! You’ve been blogging longer than me too…any suggestions?

  3. Hi, I found your site when I Googled ‘Monica Crowley Idiot’. I’ll probably also leave a comment on your post ‘Monica Crowley – Republican Whore’. I haven’t a clue why I suddenly began listening to her program (though admittedly I can only stomach a few minutes at a time.) She typically says something every few seconds that makes me livid. Perhaps I’m a masochist. At any rate, I’m looking forward to reading through your other ‘thoughts’. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Hey, so I saw your intermedia review. I’m in the process of selecting an exchange/email provider and almost went with them. Are you still pleased with exchangemymail? Any issues, and/or any other recommendations?

Also, what resources do you have that you could direct them to in order to research providers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m so pleased that I found your review. Thanks.

  5. Hi,

I would like to see if you can take a look at the link bellow of one of our innovative wireless solution that is game changing.

I feel that it is a game changing solution because in one small package we are able to provide high gain coverage from 400MHz – 3 GHz in one small antenna that provides free OTA HDTV/Cellular/WiFi/WiMAX all in one small package that can connect to your smart device, PC, laptop smart phone and receive free TV and create a hot spot and share your connection to the world in a more efficient way.
